I want to go to Jerusalem?

Hi. It has been my dream since I was young to visit Jerusalem in Israel. I know I may be young (14), but in the near future, I would love to go to the Holy Land. I am a pretty religious Christian, so Jerusalem is like a landmark for me. I was wondering…has anyone recently visited Jerusalem? My grandparents have been there twice, but that was a few years ago. If you have, is it safe for me to go there? At least when I’m 18 or so?
I heard its beautiful, and I’m praying that I get a chance to go there.
