Does anyone who lives/visits Australia find it boring?

I have lived in Melbourne my whole life, and recently I have come to the realisation of how boring it can be. There is hardly any night life, we don’t have our own unique national food(except for kangaroo, which no-one really eats), not many landmarks etc. Is it just me or does anyone else feel the same.
