10 years ago i was charged for possession of a class a substance, and a few months later for drink drive, (DUI and ’some real bad shit’, as my man from uni tells me……(He’s New Jersey born…ya schmuk!!!) ha ha!…..anyway.. A bad point in my life yes, but nothing to be judged by. I have been led to believe anyone with a criminal record of any sort cannot visit/stay/work in countries like America, Australia, Japan, because of the convictions. But if you go illegally, then its ok? am i stupid for being honest? I am not a criminal, i have just made a few mistakes in my life. Does adopting a false life and “blagging it”, (UK term for bullshit), my way in????? The states is one of those landmarks on the globe that you have to be able to say, “yeh, I went there…” which at the moment I feel i cannot now, or ever do…….I know I’ve done some minor silly things, but i only want to pay a visit, see another part of the world and enjoy it. I am V confused. Just preparing the ‘No kids, we can’t go to Disneyland cos dad was a **** when he was younger’ speach. Help? anyone?
